This Bench Grinder Polishing Kit is suited to polishing Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Brass, Copper and More
The kit contains 150mm Loose Leaf Calico and Sisal Buffs, 1 piece of Fastcut Compound (Grey), 1 piece of SSX Compound (green) and a Tapered Spindle to fit your Bench Grinder.
The Loose Leaf Calico Buff will deliver the best results when paired with the green SSX Compound. It is great for achieving a high quality mirror finish on Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Brass, Copper and More. The Sisal Buff is to paired with the grey Fastcut Compound. It is best to use the Sisal Buff and Fastcut Compound first on your surface to cut back any light scratch marks, and then finish with the Loose Leaf Calico Buff and Compound to create a mirror finish.

- 16mm Left Hand (suits most newer 200mm B/Grinders) ISO COARSE 16 x 2

- 1/2" BSW Left Hand (suits most older 6" B/Grinders) ISO COARSE 1/2 BSW 12TPI PITCH
- 1/2" BSW Right Hand (suits most older 6" B/Grinders) ISO COARSE 1/2 BSW 12TPI PITCH
- 5/8" BSW Left Hand (suits most older 8" B/Grinders) ISO COARSE 5/8 BSW 11TPI PITCH
- 5/8" BSW Right Hand (suits most older 8" B/Grinders) ISO COARSE 5/8 BSW 11TPI PITCH
I can not give advice on what size spindle suits your specific grinder. There is a guide above, but if you don't know then measure the thread with a vernier. Or buy a few different nuts in the size you think it is, and see if it screws on ok, or just ring the manufacturer and ask them
